Canine Nurture operates in accordance with the welfare and professional guidelines set by the Small Animal and Equine Naturopathic Association (SAENA), ensuring all treatments are delivered safely and ethically.
It is considered unethical to treat any dog experiencing unmanaged pain, an undiagnosed issue, or any condition contraindicated to treatment. In such cases, the practitioner will refer the owner to their veterinarian before continuing therapy.

 

Veterinary Consent
Some pre-existing health conditions may require veterinary consent or advice before treatment can proceed. It is the owner’s responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date medical information to determine whether veterinary approval is needed.

 

Scope of Practice
Canine Nurture is qualified to assess and treat soft tissue dysfunction. Treatments do not include diagnosis of injury, illness or disease, nor do they involve spinal manipulation.

 

Owner Responsibility
The effectiveness and safety of treatment rely on the owner providing a full and accurate account of the dog’s medical history, current condition and performance background.
Where an owner chooses to withhold or omit relevant information, or fails to provide updates regarding changes to their dog’s health, Canine Nurture accepts no liability for any outcomes arising from undisclosed conditions.
